This is my first take on the lighting challenges 34 – Interior scene. Modeled by Giorgio Luciano.
I used Maya Software Renderer and Maya basic shaders for this.
I had a lot of fun doing this one. I learned new things, experimented quite a lot, and developed my own tricks too! It was awesome all-nighters!
I used raytracing for Maya software render and although the result is fine, the render time isn’t worth it. I think using depth map shadows and completely fake reflection will be time effective. Gotta try that some other day.
I am hoping to take this challenge on Redshift again. Yaay!
